Why do you need Shift Logic?
Because you don’t need a salesperson you need a product representative that is a product implementation advisor and coach.
Garnering interest and maybe even the first sale is easy. But if you have a technical product that reaches beyond the technician and across an organization, you will quickly find in the HVAC industry, one of the biggest challenges lies in successfully implementing the change that drives full adoption and complete implementation. With over 29+ years in this industry, We have made it our mission to help companies tackle this challenge by emphasizing three critical components that we refer to as ACE: Accountability, Change Management, and Execution.
Brian’s Experience
What I have consistently observed is that many contracting businesses struggle with the execution phase. While the owners and visionaries behind these companies often have the best intentions, and really see the value in your product, actually getting things done proves to be the stumbling block where most fail. The breakdown typically stems from a lack of alignment throughout the organization, particularly with key stakeholders. Your product may reach beyond a technician install into dispatching, sales, service management, the install department, the customer and beyond. Often, the underlying reason or “why” behind the change across an organization is missing.
My unique ability lies in delving deep into businesses, collaborating with stakeholders, and understanding the barriers to adoption and vulnerabilities they face. By doing so, I can devise tailored plans for success that incorporate the ACE components. For the past decade, I have focused extensively on smart technology and the IoT within the HVAC industry. While there are similarities in the challenges faced by different businesses, each one also has its own set of unique concerns. This is where my role as a mentor and coach has proven to be instrumental in driving success.
Throughout my career, I have amassed several skills that have further honed my expertise in the HVAC industry:
As a General Manager for a $6.5 million Home Services Company specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, and Home Security, I gained valuable experience in managing operations and overseeing diverse teams.
My background in in-home sales for various residential HVAC companies equipped me with firsthand knowledge of customer needs and preferences.
Through strategic partnerships with two Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies, I developed a deep understanding of the importance of collaboration and leveraging technology solutions for business growth.
Working in business development roles for major Manufacturer/OEMs, I fostered relationships and identified opportunities for mutual benefit.
My experience in territory sales within wholesale distribution allowed me to gain insights into supply chain dynamics and the challenges faced by different stakeholders.
In my capacity as a Product Manager, I successfully brought smart technology solutions to market and developed effective go-to-market strategies.
Additionally, I have contributed to the success of businesses through my expertise in marketing.
With these diverse experiences, I am well-positioned to provide mentorship and coaching to HVAC companies. My comprehensive understanding of the industry, coupled with a focus on smart technology, enables me to guide businesses through the challenges they encounter when implementing change. By leveraging my knowledge and experience, I can support companies in improving execution, embracing innovative solutions, and achieving their goals in a rapidly evolving HVAC landscape.
My extensive background and expertise within the HVAC industry, along with my emphasis on ACE and smart technology, make me an ideal partner for companies seeking to overcome challenges, execute change successfully, and drive their business forward.
